I recommend taking the ACT and SAT twice (at least), and making sure to take the time to fill out the online application thoroughly and thoughtfully. Make yourself sound educated and excited to be going to college!

Getting accepted isn't too much of an issue ifFeb 13 2008Business - Management and Administration
Getting accepted isn't too much of an issue if you graduate at the top of your class or rock the ACT/SAT. The tough part is getting accepted into the upper division or school you want (many times you don't even apply for it until the end of your freshman or sophomore years). Engineering, Management and Pharmacy are highly competitive programs and admission into their respective upper divisions is tough for many students. Expect to work hard since Purdue is notorious for having almost zero grade inflation over the past 40 years.

I basically worked really hard in high school andDec 15 2007Communications
I basically worked really hard in high school and tried to do alot of community service things in high school. I knew i wanted to go to the best college i could, and I did. I suggest taking a pre-college curriclum, doing lots of extra-curriculars, and taking both SAT and ACT. Even though my gpa was bad, i still got into several colleges, and waitlisted at one. Again my main theme, get involved!

Not too hard to get into, but if youOct 29 2007Meteorology
Not too hard to get into, but if you are below the school averages for getting in you may find the work rather difficult. Break 1000 SAT and have above a 3.0 and you should get in most programs. If you are considering engineering here or science (all science majors take the same math/science classes as the engineers) get ready for a difficult program! Professors and Teacher's Assistants are always there to help you. Some say "I just feel like a number" but if you take the time to meet with professors and TAs that won't be the case.
